This weekend filmmakers from all over the country will be in Austin, TX for the 3rd annual Capital City Black Film Festival beginning on Thursday and closing Saturday evening (August 21-23, 2014). The festival will provide filmmaking work groups, screenings, parties and the opportunity to network with other filmmakers.
Capital City Black Film Festival (CCBFF) is a Texas based film festival hosted in the Capital city of Texas. The festival’s goal is to bring together talented African Americans involved in media and the film industry. The festival’s main goal is to provide burgeoning Black filmmakers from across the nation an opportunity to showcase their work in one of the top cities in the United States for independent filmmakers, Austin Texas. CCBFF also educates filmmakers on the vast resources available to them in Austin and in Texas.
